NATIONAL LEVEL GOLD MEDALIST IN JUDO ARRESTED FOR STALKING AND SENDING OBSCENE PICTURES TO WOMEN THROUGH WHATSAPP, FACEBOOK MESSENGER AND INSTAGRAM
With the arrest of one person namely Sonu Sharma, age- 27 years  R/o PO: Paluwas, District: Bhiwani, Haryana, the Special Staff of North District has brought a big relief for women and girls being tormented by the accused who used to send objectionable pictures and vulgar abusive messages through “WhatsApp” and “Facebook”.
INCIDENT:
Brief facts of the matter are that one complainant of North District had lodged a complaint that one person is mentally harassing her by sending objectionable messages and her pictures on Facebook and WhatsApp. On the basis of her complaint, a case under section 354A/354D/506/509 IPC & 67A IT Act was registered and investigation was taken up. Initial finding revealed that there may be many more victims.
TEAM:
In view of the gravity of the matter, a team comprising of SI Parveen Kumar, ASI Ajit, HC Atul, HC Manjeet and Ct. Sombeer, headed by Inspr. Sunil Sharma, IC/Special Staff under the supervision of Sh. Ram Chander, ACP-Operation Cell/North District was constituted for tracing the suspect.

INVESTIGATION:
During investigation of the case, the technical surveillance of the suspect’s mobile phone was conducted and it revealed that the accused had procured the SIM number on the basis of fake identity.  After putting lot of sustained efforts, the police team succeeded in tracing the accused Sonu Sharma.  The team conducted raid at Bhiwani and nabbed him.  He had made more than 10 fake Facebook profiles for sending messages to victims.  With the arrest of Sonu Sharma two cases of stalking registered in Delhi have been worked out. Further investigation is being conducted to find out other cases registered against him.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED:
Accused Sonu Sharma has been a Gold Medalist in Judo in Junior National, twice in School National and once in Federation Cup at National Level. He also used to impart private yoga sessions. He has been remanded to police custody for further investigation.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru.
