ROBBER ARRESTED

The staff of AATS, West District has done good work by arresting a notorious Robber namely Naveen @ Kalu.  With his instance 05 mobile phones have been recovered and 05 cases of theft and robbery have been worked out.

Naveen @ Kalu R/o Ranjeet Nagar, New Delhi. Age- 24 Yrs.

  1. FIR No. 21/18, Dt. 16/01/18 U/S 392/34 IPC, PS Kirti Nagar.
  2. E-FIR No. 12/18, Dt. 06/01/18 U/S 379 IPC, PS Kirti Nagar.
  3. E-FIR No. 33/18, Dt. 19/01/18 U/S 379 IPC, PS Raja Garden Metro.
  4. E-FIR No. 88/18, Dt. 18/01/18 U/S 379 IPC, PS Janak Puri.
  5. E-FIR No. 79/18, Dt. 16/01/18 U/S 379 IPC, PS Janak Puri.
TEAM & OPERATION:
On 16/01/2018, a complainant reported that he was on the way to his home from his work place Furniture Block, Kirti Nagar and at about 4.15 PM reached near railway station Kirti Nagar, 02 persons intercepted him and asked for Bidi but he refused for the same as he doesn’t smoke.  On this, duo started assaulting him with fist and blows. One of them choked him and other robbed his mobile phone and started to flee. The complainant followed them and caught one of the robbers but his associate managed to escape who later on was identified as Naveen @ Kalu. In this regard, a case vide FIR No.21/18 dated 16.1.18 U/s 392 was registered in PS Kirti Nagar and investigation was taken up.

Immediately, a team comprising of SI Mohit Parkash, SI Ishwar Singh, ASI Bhawnesh, ASI Om Prakash, ASI Kirorimal, ASI Rajender, HC Rajeev, HC Rashid Khan, HC Murari Lal, Ct. Shailender, Ct Narender, Ct. Anil Kumar and W/Ct Divya Verma led by Inspr. Manoj Kumar under overall supervision of Sh. Jagjeet Singh Sangwan, ACP/Operation Cell/WD was constituted to nab Naveen @ Kalu.  The team was tasked to develop information about Naveen @ Kalu. Team visited the places of occurrence and met the victims. Based on the information collected from the place of occurrence and victims, sources were deployed. The hard earned efforts of the team bore fruit when on 06/03/18, a specific input was received that Naveen @ Kalu will come for selling robbed and stolen Mobile Phones at Satguru Ram Singh Marg, Moti Nagar, Delhi. Accordingly, the team laid a strategically trap at opposite KLG Industries, Satguru Ram Singh Marg, Moti Nagar, Delhi.  At about 05.10 PM, on pointing out of informer the team succeeded in apprehending Naveen @ Kalu. On his cursory search, 05 Smart Mobile phones were recovered.

On interrogation, accused Naveen @ Kalu disclosed that he belongs to a poor family background. He fell in the company of bad elements and while residing in Ranjeet Nagar met some criminals, who used to commit snatchings and robberies.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas.
