P.S. Vigilance Unit. ASI Ram Kishan has been arrested

A building material supplier in the area of DSIDC,Narela approached the Vigilance Branch of Delhi Police with a complaint that ASI Ram Kishan of Police Post Bhor Garh, PS Narela (RohiniDistrict) has seized his two vehicles without any fault and now he is demanding Rs. 10,000/- from him to get his vehicles released early.
On this information a raiding team was immediately constituted by the Vigilance Branch. On 15.9.17 the complainant brought Rs. 10,000/- for payment to the IO of Police Post. The complainant, along with the witness, reached police post BhorGarh and met ASI Ram Kishan who demanded and accepted the bribe money Rs. 10,000/- from the complainant. On the signal of the witness, the raiding team apprehended ASI Ram Kishan red-handed and the bribe money was recovered from him.

On the statement of the complainant, a case vide FIR No.09/17 dated 15.9.2017 u/s 7/13(1) (d) Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 has been registered at P.S. Vigilance Unit. ASI Ram Kishan has been arrested in the case and investigation is on.

A CHRONIC CHEAT AND PROCLAIMED OFFENDER IN MORE THAN 13 CASES ARRESTED

The PO Staff of PS Rani Bagh, North West District has arrested one Brij Bhushan Sharma S/O Shri Ghan Shyam Sharma R/O 776/14, Sec-14, Faridabad, Haryana, a chronic cheat and a proclaimed offender (PO) in more than 13 cases on 15.12.2015. The issue of arrest/tracing of POs has always remained top priority of policing. A dedicated team is formed in each police station and is assigned the task of apprehending POs declared by various courts of law.  The progress made is also periodically discussed and monitored by Courts and senior officers in meetings.  DCP/NW had also directed staff to pay special attention to tracing of POs.  As a result the staff of North West District has arrested 176 POs during the current year.   The team consisting of HC Rajesh Rana, No.192/NW, Ct Pawan, No.1398/NW and Ct.
