With the arrest of one accused, the staff of P.S Bawana solved blind murder case

Exhibiting brilliant investigation skills and professional competence, the Police staff of P.S Bawana Outer District achieved a major success by solving blind murder case of labourer within 24 hours of its reporting and arrested one accused involved in the heinous crime. Labourer Attaur Rehman was murdered over playing of drum on occasion of Diwali festival in Bawana DSIIDC area. 

DETAILS OF ARRESTED ACCUSED PERSONS : 1. Sujeet @ Chintu S/o Panna Lal R/o Village Sunderpur, Post Itay, Tehsil Navaniya, Distt Jaunpur, U.P Age 22 Year. 

INCIDENT: On 30.10.16, one person informed the police staff of P.S Bawana doing patrolling in D Block, Sector -3 Bawana DSIIDC that his known person is lying in street and blood is oozing from the head. Police staff immediately sent the person to the M.B Hospital, Pooth Khurd where the person known as Attaur Rehman was declared brought dead vide MLC No 4275/16. Initially no resident came forward to reveal the incident but later police team find an eye witness and on the statement of Ravi Kumar a case FIR No 472/16 u/s 302 IPC Dated 31.10.16 was registered in which he stated that deceased who was under influence of alcohol, demanded the drummer to play drum on occasion of Diwali but when he went inside his home, one other person Sujeet @ Chintu with whom deceased exchanged hot words during celebration, came and started fighting to teach a lesson. Later Sujeet went inside his home and came with the danda and hit the deceased on his head where Rehman (deceased) fell down. Sujeet managed to flee from the place of incident.       

INVESTIGATION AND INTERROGATION: Keeping in view the sensitivity and gravity of the case, under the supervision of the ACP Sh Saurab Chandra, a team of Insp ATO Sh Anil Kumar, I/C PP Bawana DSIIDC S.I Ravinder Joon, S.I Uday, ASI’s Maha Singh, HC Sandeep and Ct’s Vishwas, Jagpal, Lokesh, Naresh, Rakesh, Dharam Singh, Samay Singh, Manjit, Vikram, Ganesh was constituted. The person who informed the police team about the person has no clue about the incident. Over 200 labourers who are living in D Block, Sector-3, Bawana were questioned and interrogated by the team but no person came forward to divulge any detail about the incident. Local intelligence was collected and finally the complainant who initially refused to reveal any detail about the incident was motivated by the team and complainant stated the whole incident and team zeroed down the name of accused within three hour of the blind murder.
                   On the same day of registration of FIR, team arrested the accused Sujeet @ Chintu from D-Block, Sector-3, Bawana who after incident managed to flee from the place of incident. After arrest of the accused, he disclosed during interrogation that while celebrating on occasion of Diwali in D Block in night of Diwali, hot words were exchanged between him and deceased. When celebrations were over, again fight began between them and accused hit the danda on the head of deceased. Deceased fell down and he managed to flee from the place of incident. Danda, weapon of offence has been recovered from the accused.
