KEY AIDE OF GANGSTER RAJESH BAWANIA ARRESTED

A team of South Western Range of Special Cell led by Inspectors Tilak Chand Bisht and Rajesh Kumar under supervision of ACP Sh. Akhileshwar Swaroop has arrested a desperate, notorious and wanted criminal Vinayak Sehrawat @ Ajay Hooda @ Sonu (aged 26 years,) s/o Krishan Murari r/o VPO Kair, PS Jaffarpur Delhi key aide of gangster Rajesh Bawania. He is involved in 16 cases of robbery, car jacking etc. A Pistol of .32 bore and a country made pistol of .315 bore alongwith 4 live cartridges have been recovered.



Information
On 04-11-2016, an input was received by Ct. Ombir and Ct. Pardeep that desperate criminal Vinayak Sehrawat was seen in the jungle of his native village Kair, Jaffarpur Kalan accordingly a team comprising of SI Ravi, SI Deepak, SI Basant, HC Sunil, HC Anil, HC Mukesh, Ct. Ombir, Ct. Pardeep, Ct. Dinesh, Ct. Atul, Ct. Monu Ct. Dharmender & Ct. Hari Om surrounded the jungle area and started manhunt Vinayak Sherawat was nabbed from jungle. During his personal search he was found in possession of a pistol of .32 bore along with a country made pistol of 315 bore along with 4 live cartridges. A case FIR No. 62/2016 dt 04-11-2016 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act has been registered at PS Special Cell, Delhi.

Interrogation
Vinayak @ Sonu was put to sustained interrogation wherein he disclosed that he is close associate of one Vikram @ Bakra r/o Village Kair, a Bad Character of PS Jaffarpur Kalan and was member of Neetu Dabhodia gang. On the night of 14/10/2016 Vikram @ Bakra was killed by Mohit of village Kair and his associates Ankit and Rajesh Malik in the area of PS Sector 10 Gurgoan Haryana. Mohit and his associates were arrested by Gurgoan police in that case. Vinayak @ Sonu was deeply anguished with murder of Vikram @ Bakra in order to terrorise the family of Mohit, Vinay @ Sonu fired many rounds at the house.

In the month April’ 2016 Vinayak @ Sonu was arrested in a molestation case of PS Jaffarpur Kalan Delhi and lodged in Tihar Jail for about 1½ month. In Jail, he met notorious gangster Rajesh Bawania. Rajesh Bawania helped him to provide comforts in jail and also provided cloths and other luxuries. In lieu these luxuries Rajesh Bawania mentally prepared him to work for his gang. After releasing from jail he met Rajesh Bawania 2-3 times in Rohini Court and he also met some other members of Rajesh Bawania gang. Rajesh Bawania tasked him to fire at the office of some property dealers and other businessmen in the area of Rohini and Bawana to threaten them and to extort money from them. While he was preparing for execution of these plans but he was apprehended by the police.

Profile of accused
Vinayak Sehrawat @ Ajay Hooda @ Sonu, is a native of Village Kair, Najafgarh Delhi. His father Krishan Murari is a security guard in a private school at Village Ujhwa, Najafgarh Delhi. His mother is a house wife. He has one younger brother namely Rohit, who works as a conductor in cluster bus. He has a sister who is married and residing at Vill. Kansala Rohtak Haryana. He has studied upto 10 th class. After leaving study he fell in the bad company and started his these criminal activities.

Involvements
On the intervening night of 09/10.08.16, he along with his associates robbed a truck driver and shot and injured him near Air Force Station, Dhansa, New Delhi. A case FIR No. 152/16 U/S 307 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act was registered at PS Jafffarpur Kalan barely after 15-20 minutes of this crime accused and his associates committed another incident of robbery at main road Village Issapur, New Delhi in which a motorcycle and phone was robbed from a passerby at gun point. A case FIR No.153/16 U/S 392/34 & 25/27 Arms Act was registered at PS Jaffarpur Kalan. After this incident accused Vinayak Sehrawat along with his associates committed series of of robberies and carjackings in the area of Jaffarpur Kalan, Najafgarh, Mundka, Kanjhawala, Bawana, Najafgarh, Shahbad Dairy, Dwarka, Rohini etc. A reward of Rs. 25,000/- has been moved by South West Distt. for the arrest of accused Vinayak Sehrawat. On the midnight of 1/7/16 accused Vinayak @ Sonu along with his associates robbed one Indigo car, cash and other belongings from a person on gunpoint near Corporation Bank Barwala Delhi.

On the midnight of 9/7/16 accused Vinayak @ Sonu along with his associates robbed two car one Swift Dezire and one Hyundai Verna and personal belongings including Cash about 3.2 lacs, Gold Chain, Mobiles, Laptop and other articles from two persons near KM Chowk, Dwarka Sector 11 on gunpoint they escaped after firing in the air. Both the victims were friend and came to see each other.

On the night of 11/7/16 accused Vinayak @ Sonu along with his associates robbed one Motorcycle and cash Rs. 12,000/- one person on New Express Road Mundka Delhi.

On the night of 12/7/16 accused Vinayak @ Sonu along with his associates robbed Santro Car from a person on gunpoint near Japani Park Rohini Delhi.

On the midnight of 13/7/16 accused Vinayak @ Sonu along with his associates robbed one Santro Car, Cash, mobile and other belonging from one person on gunpoint near red light Sector 25, Rohini Delhi.

On the night of 19/7/16 accused Vinayak @ Sonu along with his associates robbed one Swift Car on gunpoint from Sector 17 Rohini Delhi.

On the night of 20/7/16 accused Vinayak @ Sonu along with his associates robbed one Hyundai Verna Car, Laptop, cash and other personal belonging from a person Rohtak Road near Mundka Delhi on gunpoint.

On the midnight of 27/7/16 accused Vinayak @ Sonu along with his associates robbed cash & mobile from one truck driver and attacked him with sharp weapons at Tikri Kalan Extn Delhi.

On the midnight of 1/8/16 accused Vinayak @ Sonu along with his associates robbed one Splender Motorcycle and mobile from a person on gunpoint on Ganda Nalah Road near CRPF Quarters Kakrola, Dwarka Delhi.

On the daytime of 17/8/16 accused Vinayak @ Sonu along with his associates attacked one person and robbed his Etios Car, Cash, Mobile Phone and other belonging near Hirankudna Mod, Rohtak Road Delhi.



On the midnight of 18/8/16 accused Vinayak @ Sonu along with his associates robbed one Etios Car and gold chain from a person on gunpoint near Jal Board office Kakrola Road Najafgarh.
