A SENSATIONAL MURDER CASE OF A YOUNG GIRL OF PS SOUTH ROHINI SOLVED

  • THE ACCUSED IS A GYM TRAINER AT VILL. MANGOLPUR KALAN.
  • THE ACCUSED WAS EVADING ARREST AND WAS DECLARED PROCLAIMED OFFENDER.
  • INDISCRIMINATE FIRING IN MARRIAGE LEAD TO THIS UNFORTUNATE/TRAGIC INCIDENT.
INTRODUCTION: -
Crime Branch has arrested one criminal Vikrant @ Vicky s/o Hawa Singh r/o H.No.130, Vill. Mangolpur Kalan, Delhi from Metro Station, Rohini (East), Delhi, who was wanted in a sensational murder of a young girl in Mangolpur village on 16/04/2016.
The girl had received gunshot injury on her head when she was watching a marriage procession (Ghurchadi), while standing in the balcony of her house. The accused Vikrant @ Vicky has previous criminal antecedents.
INCIDENT: - 
On 16/04/2016, one marriage procession (Ghurchari) of one Aman Dagar  was passing in front of the house of Shyam Sunder and his wife and daughters were watching  it while standing in the balcony of their house. In the Ghurchari programme, Shyam Sundar’s neighbor Vikrant @ Vicky was dancing and firing in the air. Shyam Sundar’s daughter got gunshot injury on her head from one of the shot fired by Vikrant @ Vicky. A case vide FIR No.197/16 u/s 302 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act dated 17/04/2016, P.S South Rohini was registered on the statement of Sh. Shyam Sunder, father of the deceased girl. She remained unfit for statement during her treatment and finally on 19.04.2016, she expired. On 14/07/2016, the investigation of the case was transferred to Crime Branch by the order of Hon’ble High Court.
In the meantime, accused had applied for the anticipatory bail and for other reliefs before Hon’ble High Court on various dates. However, the accused did not get any relief from any Court of law. He was deliberately avoiding his arrest and was declared PO on 05/09/2016 by the Hon’ble Court.  
TEAM & OPERATION: - 
On 15.11.16, a specific information was received by HC Sandeep Singh that Vikrant @ Vicky, who was wanted in a murder case registered vide FIR No. 197/16 u/s 302 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act, PS South Rohini and was also declared Proclaimed Offender by the Hon’ble Court, would come near Rohini (East) Metro Station to meet his aides. The information was further developed and a team of Crime Branch led by ACP A.K. Mishra, consisting of Inspr. Satyawan Lathwal, SIs Dinesh, Amit, ASI Sukhbir, HCs Sandeep and Manish was constituted under the close supervision of DCP Dr. G. Ram Gopal Naik and under overall guidance of Addl.C.P. K.K. Vyas to neb the criminal.
The crime team laid a trap near Rohini (East) Metro Station and successfully apprehended accused Vikrant @ Vicky while he was waiting for someone.
INTERROGATION & MODUS OPERANDI: -
On the night of 16/04/2016, he attended a marriage party of his cousin Aman. He alongwith his friends and other relatives were dancing and he was also firing in air by his illegal pistol. When the Ghurchari reached near Barat Ghar, Mangolpur Kalan, he came to know from someone that his bullet had hit the daughter of his neighbor, Shyam Sunder while she was watching the Ghurchari from the balcony of her house. He immediately switched off his mobile phone and ran away from the spot.
On further interrogation, he disclosed that on 12/12/2015, he along with Amit, Neeraj and Vishal robbed a Santro Car and cash from the driver near Sani Mandir, Pala Road, Delhi. He was also arrested in case FIR No.58/15 dated 08/01/2015 u/s 307/365/394/397 IPC, PS Mangolpuri Delhi registered in the matter.

  2. FIR No.1118/15 dated 12/12/2015 u/s 392/397/365/34 IPC, PS Alipur, Delhi (NBW of Vikrant @ Vicky was issued by the Trial Court in this case).
PROFILE: -

Accused Vikrant @ Vicky is a notorious Criminal. He has studied upto 12th standard and is unmarried. He used to run a mobile shop in Mangolpuri, Delhi where he came in contact with many budding criminals. He could not earn enough money because of his bad company and his parents forced him to discontinue this business. As he was jobless and spent time with his friends creating nuisance in the locality, he joined the gym with his younger brother Nishant, who is a famous body builder in the area.  He is very much fascinated to show muscle power in the company of his friends and some times, he was forced to act according to his fake reputation of boldness and this is the reason which led to his involvement in crimes.
