FUGITIVE CRIMINAL SAHIL @ CHHOTA ROSHAN @ CHELA, WANTED IN A SERIES OF SENSATIONAL ROBBERY AND SNATCHING CASES, ARRESTED BY CRIME BRANCH

Ø    ACCUSED IS ACTIVE MEMBER OF DESPERATE ‘SADDAM GAURI GANG’ OF WEST AND SOUTH-WEST DISTRICTS OF DELHI, WHO IS IN JAIL IN A MURDER CASE.
Ø    HE WAS COLLECTING EXTORTION MONEY FROM DIFFERENT SATTA OPERATORS ON THE INSTRUCTIONS OF SADDAM GAURI FOR PAIRVI OF HIS UNDER TRIAL CASES.       
Ø    SADDAM GAURI GANG IS ALSO ASSOCIATED WITH DESPERATE GAURAV JHARERA GANG OF SOUTH-WEST DISTRICT AND NEERAJ BAWANA-AMIT BHURA GANG OF OUTER DELHI AND UP AND HAD PLANNED FOR ESCAPE OF AMIT BHURA FROM POLICE CUSTODY IN UTTARAKHAND.    

INTRODUCTION: - Crime Branch has arrested a fugitive criminal Sahil @ Chhota Roshan @ Chela (26 yrs) s/o Uday Shankar r/o B-2/346, Tara Nagar, Duggal Farm, Kakrola, Delhi, who was wanted in several cases of robbery, snatching and auto-theft etc. of different police stations of South-West District. The accused is previously involved in 19 criminal cases and is an active member of desperate ‘Saddam Gauri gang’, active in West and South-West Districts of Delhi. The gang leader Saddam Gauri is associated with dreaded Neeraj Bawana gang of Outer Delhi, Gaurav Jharera gang of South-West District and Amit Bhura gang of Western UP. He is presently running in jail in a murder case of PS Delhi Cantt committed by him in association with Gaurav Jharera. 
       
INFORMATION, TEAM & OPERATION: -
          A secret information was received by ASI Bijender Singh that a desperate robber Sahil @ Chhota Roshan, who is wanted in several criminal cases, would come near Suraj Vihar Bus Stop, Dwarka Mod to meet his aides. This information was further developed and a team led by ACP Jasbir Singh, consisting of Insp. PC Khanduri, SIs Data Ram, Rohit, ASIs Bijender, Virender, Pradeep Hooda, Yudhvir, HCs Rajeev Sahrawat, Dinesh Kumar, Satender, Ct. Sandeep and W/Ct. Mamta was constituted under the supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh and under overall guidance of Addl.CP K.K. Vyas to nab the criminal. Accordingly, a trap was laid near the expected place of his arrival and accused Sahil @ Chhota Roshan was successfully apprehended. On interrogation, he confessed his involvement in several criminal incidents of robbery, snatching, auto-theft etc. Subsequently, he was arrested under appropriate sections of law.

INTERROGATION & DISCLOSURE: -
          The accused Sahil @ Chhota Roshan @ Chela basically belongs to a lower middle class family of district Darbhanga, Bihar, which shifted to Delhi and has studied upto primary school level. In late 1990s, his family shifted to West Delhi and started working in a tent house in Hari Nagar. During this period, he came in contact with local criminals and joined Saddam Gauri gang, active in West and South-West Districts of Delhi, which is indulged in several heinous offences and running Satta Mafia. After this, the accused remained involved in about 19 criminal cases of robbery, attempt to murder, snatching, auto-theft and hurt etc. of different police stations all over Delhi with his other gang members Amit Bhardwaj, Babar Khan, Deepak @ Deepu, Mani Nasa and gang leader Saddam Gauri. 
                   On further interrogation and verification, the accused Sahil @ Chhota Roshan @ Chela was found wanted in following criminal cases of PS Dwarka North: -

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. HE ALLEGEDELY OPERATED INSIDE THE JAIL CARRYING REWARD OF Rs. 20,000/- District Anti Robbery Cell, NWD has nabbed a desperate extortionist namely Harsimran @ Badal @ Simran s/o Harvinder Singh r/o BK-1/103-A, East Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, who is gang leader of Harsimran @ Badal Gang and carrying reward of Rs. 20000/-. He is a dreaded criminal of PS Shalimar Bagh and is involved in total 15 cases including two murders at PS Burari & Mandir Marg.
