The murder case cracked by PS Kalkaji within three hours of commission

  • One arrested

With the arrest of accused namely Rahmuddin s/o Sheikh Shamsul Duja r/o Taxi Stand, Local Shopping Complex, Near Sudhar Camp, Kalkaji, New Delhi, the local Police of PS Kalkaji has solved the case of murder of man identified as Ramesh China Tambi, aged 25 years s/o Sh. China Tambi r/o Jhuggi No. 315, Sudhar Camp, Kalkaji, New Delhi committed in Kalkaji area on 1.11.16.

INCIDENT
On 01.11.2016 at around 5.00 PM, Rahmuddin and Mobin who work as Drivers with Ajit Taxi Stand, Local Shopping Complex, Kalkaji, New Delhi were playing ‘LUDO’ in the parking of Omaxe Building, Kalkaji, New Delhi. Meanwhile, one Ramesh also reached there. Rahmuddin and Ramesh had an altercation over some issue after which Rahmuddin left the place and returned after sometime having an awl (सुआ) in his hand and attacked Ramesh saying that he was teasing him for last 15 days. Ramesh sustained several stab injuries over various parts of his body including chest and fell on the ground whereas Rahamuddin fled away from the spot. Ramesh was shifted to nearby Irene Hospital, DD Block Kalkaji, New Delhi where Doctor declared him brought dead vide MLC No. 038/16. A case vide FIR No. 640/2016 dated 01.11.16 u/s 302 IPC was registered at PS Kalkaji and investigation taken up.  

TEAM
A team comprising of Inspr. Aditya Ranjan, (Inv./PS Kalkaji), SI Suresh Sharma, Const. Inder Kumar, Const. Dharmender was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Ved Prakash, SHO/PS Kalkaji and overall supervision of Sh. Amit Goel, IPS, ACP/Kalkaji.
 
INVESTIGATION
A massive hunt was launched for the accused and several raids were conducted at various suspected hideouts of accused in Kalkaji and nearby area on the basis of information gathered from the local residents of jhuggi cluster Sudhar Camp. The accused did not have any address in Delhi and it would have been very difficult to trace him out, in case he succeeded to leave Delhi.  After making strenuous efforts the team succeeded in apprehending him.  

During interrogation, Rahmuddin confessed to having committed murder of Ramesh as he was teasing him for last 15 days over some insignificant issue and he wanted to get rid of him. The strenuous and sincere efforts of local Police of PS Kalkaji led to the arrest of accused within three hours of its commission.

Accused Rahmuddin hails from Distt. Siwan, Bihar and works as Taxi Driver at Ajit Taxi Stand, Local Shopping Complex, Near Sudhar Camp, Kalkaji, New Delhi.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp.
