THIEVES OPERATING ON METRO NETWORK ARRESTED

Delhi Metro Police arrested the accused persons namely 1.) Raju @ Sahil Choudhary R/o Sunder Nagri, Delhi, Age- 31 yrs.  2.) Rahul @ Joginder Pal R/o Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP Age- 28 yrs. & 3.) Ravi @ Manish R/ Dilshad Garden, Delhi Age- 33 yrs. for the offence committed on 13.02.2018, U/s 379/34 IPC of Police Station-Raja Garden  Metro, Delhi.


INCIDENT & INVESTIGATION
Team of Special Staff (Metro Unit) comprising of ASI Ombeer Tyagi No. 92/ RM, HC Shakti Singh No. 94/RM, HC Bhupender Kumar No. 799/RM, and Const. Surender No. 827/RM, under the supervision of Inspr. Ram Mehar (In charge Special staff) was searching for the above mentioned accused persons on the basis of CCTV footage, preserved in case FIR No. 05/2018 U/s 379/34 IPC PS Raja Garden Metro, Delhi. The incident occurred when the complainant was boarding metro train at Karol Bagh metro station. The complainant reported that some unknown persons had picked his pocket in which cash Rs. 45000/- were stolen. On which above mentioned case was registered and on analyzing the CCTV Footage of the relevant period the complainant was found to be followed by three persons. The above mentioned staff first identified the suspects and thereafter collected their previous involvements and hide outs. Thereafter, they developed information about movement of the above mentioned accused persons and passed on the same to the IO of the case. Accordingly the IO ASI Dalbir Singh and his team in collaboration of the above mentioned staff apprehended the above mentioned accused persons.
INTERROGATION
All the above mentioned accused persons used to operate in metro trains, crowded buses, trains etc. The accused persons used to operate in a group. They first identify the victim with bulging pockets standing on the metro stations or any other crowded places from where one can board a transport. Thereafter, they surround the victim and started pushing in the name of hurrying and in the process one of them picks the pocket. They generally steal the cash from pockets of the victims using this modus operandi.      
PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON
All of the above mentioned accused persons belong to middle class families. All are un-educated and jobless.

Sagar @ Punter a sharp shooter of Naveen Khati Gang arrested

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. HE ALLEGEDELY OPERATED INSIDE THE JAIL CARRYING REWARD OF Rs. 20,000/- District Anti Robbery Cell, NWD has nabbed a desperate extortionist namely Harsimran @ Badal @ Simran s/o Harvinder Singh r/o BK-1/103-A, East Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, who is gang leader of Harsimran @ Badal Gang and carrying reward of Rs. 20000/-.
