GTB ENCLAVE CHILD’S KIDNAPPING FOR RANSOM CASE LEADS CRIME BRANCH TO SOLVE

• GTB ENCLAVE CHILD’S KIDNAPPING FOR RANSOM CASE LEADS CRIME BRANCH TO SOLVE ANOTHER CASE OF MURDER, WHERE THE VICTIM WAS REPORTED MISSING FROM 2014.

1. INTRODUCTION:-

                   The Staff of STARS-II, Crime Branch, Shakar Pur, Delhi has arrested one accused namely Nitin Sharma, , R/o Gokul Puri, Delhi aged 28 years, who was main the conspirator and accused in sensational child kidnapping case of PS GTB Enclave and solved the case of abduction and murder of a 23 years old male.          

2. INFORMATION, OPERATION  AND ARREST:-

        A case FIR No. 700/14, dated 16.07.14, u/s 365 IPC, PS Gokul Puri was registered on the complaint of Sh. Kamleshwar Tiwari, R/o Ganga Vihar, Delhi who is working as ASI in Delhi Police. He told that his son namely Rahul Tiwari, aged 23 years had been abducted by unknown persons on 04.06.2014. The investigation of the case was transferred to Crime Branch on 18/07/16 and further investigation was taken up.  

           During the investigation of missing case of Rahul Tiwari, i.e. FIR No. 700/14, dated 16.07.14, u/s 365 IPC, PS Gokul Puri, the team of Insp. Surender Kumar consisting of SI Pawan Yadav, SI Rajneesh Kumar, ASI Upender, ASI Mahesh & HC Gurcharan was constituted under the supervision of Sh. Rajesh Kumar, ACP/STARS-II Crime and under the overall supervision of Dr. G.RamGopal Naik, DCP/STARS Crime.

       The accused Nitin Sharma, R/o Gokul Puri, Delhi, aged 28 years was arrested on 05.02.18 in the case of kidnapping of a child aged 4-5 years in FIR No. 27/18, U/s 307/364A/392/394/34 IPC & 27 Arms Act. During investigation and search of flat at  Ebony Tower, Shalimar City, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, UP, total 24 mobile phones were recovered. One PAN Card of one Rahul Tiwari, R/o Ganga Vihar, Gokul Puri, Delhi was also recovered from the flat. Later, when the team was carefully doing technical analysis, out of these 24 recovered mobile phones, 2 mobile phones were found to be belonged to the abducted person Rahul Tiwari. One Ranjit Deswal, who was a very good friend of abducted Rahul Tiwari and who was the last person to see Rahul Tiwari was also called in Crime Branch and questioned. He identified the photograph of the accused Nitin Kr. Sharma and deposed that he saw Nitin 04.06.2014 in a white car along with Rahul Tiwari, when Rahul came to him to take some money and ATM Card. Rahul told Ranjit that he along with friends was going to Jaipur for a party and enjoyment.

              The team interrogated the accused Nitin Sharma and after thorough interrogation, arrested him in this case after obtaining production from the concerned CMM court and total 8 days Police Custody/Remand was obtained.

            During Police Custody/remand, the accused confessed the murder of Rahul Tiwari, R/o Ganga Vihar, Gokul Puri, Delhi. The accused Nitin was taken to Gurugram, Haryana, where he pointed out an isolated place near Ghata Village, Sec.-56, Gurugram, Haryana, where he killed Rahul Tiwari along with his associates and tried to burn the body. This area falls under the jurisdiction of P.S Sector-56, Gurugram, Haryana. The Police Team along with the accused Nitin and relatives of the deceased checked the record of P.S Sector-56, Gurugram, Haryana, where father and brother of the deceased identified the deceased by photograph of dead body as Rahul Tiwari. In this regard, Case FIR No.-156/14, dated 05.06.2014, u/s 302/201 IPC was already registered at P.S. Sector-56, Gurugram, Haryana. This case is still untraced at P.S Sector-56, Gurugram, Haryana.

3. INTERROGATION & MODUS OPERANDI: 

            During sustained interrogation, the accused Nitin Sharma disclosed that Rahul had close/intimate relation with his female cousin and this was not liked by his family. On 04.06.2014, Nitin along with his friend Ravi (expired during encounter in FIR No. 27/18, a PS GTB Enclave) allured Rahul Tiwari to go to Jaipur for a party and for enjoyment. They took Rahul in a Car and  first they went to NOIDA where Rahul Tiwari met Ranjt Deshwal & took some money & ATM card and later, went to Gurugram, Haryana. They murdered Rahul at an isolated Ridge area by inflicting gun shots on his cheek and in the chest. On the next day, Gurugram Police found the dead body of Rahul and a case of murder was registered. But, despite best efforts, the dead body could not be identified and the case was sent as ‘untraced’ by the Gurugram police.  

         After this revelation, the team took Nitin to Gurugram, where Nitin pointed out the place, where he along with his associates murdered Rahul. This place is an isolated area of PS Sector-56, Gurugram, Haryana. During further interrogation, Nitin disclosed that deceased Rahul Tiwari was his close friend in the year 2014. Accused Nitin Sharma suspected that Rahul Tiwari had closeness/intimate relation with his sisters. Therefore, he hatched the plan of Rahul’s murder. The investigation in respect of involvement of other persons in this case is being carried out.   

4. PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSONS:-          

Accused Nitin Sharma, R/o Gokul Puri, Delhi, aged 28 years used to run his Hotel in Gokul Puri with his brother. He used to live lavish life. He used to spend  lot of money to maintain his life style. Nitin had borrowed huge money from his friends, relatives and known persons. His friends are also of criminal nature and to earn quick money, he along with his associates kidnapped a 4 ½ years child after injuring the school cab driver with gunshot.  On 05.02.2018, Nitin was apprehended and at the instance of Nitin, child was rescued after an encounter at the above mentioned address in Ghaziabad, U.P.
