SUMAN DASS @ RAHUL OF TILLU TAJPURIA GANG, WANTED IN TIS HAZARI COURTS SHOOTOUT CASE ARRESTED

  • ONE COUNTRY MADE PISTOL AND TWO LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED.
  • HE IS PREVIOUSLY INVOLVED IN THREE CASES.
INTRODUCTION
SOS, Crime Branch, Delhi has arrested a member of Tilu Tajpuria gang namely Suman Dass @ Rahul  r/o Palam Vihar Delhi, age 32 years, who was absconding in a recent sensational shootout in Tis Hazari Court, Delhi, while the victim was in custody of Haryana Police.
INFORMATION, TEAM &OPERATION
After the incident of shootout on jail Van of Haryana Police, carrying gangster Dinesh Karalia, on 29.05.18, in Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi,a team of Crime Branch was constituted under the overall supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh and ACP Shweta Singh Chauhan comprising of Inspr. Sanjay Dahiya ,ASIs Surender, Bijender & Narender, HCs Virender Kumar, Parveen, Lalit Kumar, &HC Brijesh, and Const. Sonu, to identify and arrest the criminals involved in the shootout, especially rival gang members of Dinesh Karalia and Jitender Gogi, who planned and executed the shootout in Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi.
On 02.06.18, HC Parveen of SOS, Crime Branch received some specific information that one Suman Dass @ Rahul, involved in the case of shootout in Tis Hazari Courts would come near a park situated near Mangol Puri flyover, Outer Ring Road, to meet his friend for taking some money to flee away from Delhi. On this information, the team immediately swung into action and laid a trap at the place of information. The accused Suman Dass @ Rahul reached the place of information by a TSRand started waiting for hisfriend. However, sensing some trouble, he tried to flee away and whipped out a loaded country made pistol on seeing the police and tried to fire at police party but HC Parveen with the help of other team members chased him down and successfully apprehended the accused. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No.151/18, dated 02.06.2018 u/s 186/353 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act, PS Crime Branch, Delhi was registered and investigation taken up.

INTERROGATION
On interrogation, accused, SumanDass @ Rahul confessed to his involvement in sensational day light custody shoot out case of Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi.

PROFILE OF ACCUSED
Suman Dass @ Rahul r/o Palam Vihar, Delhi, basically belong to West Bengal but he was born and brought up in Delhi. He is 32 years old and studied up to 10th standard.  He got indulged in the habit of taking drugs and started committing crime.

  2. FIR No.150/18 u/s 307/34  IPC& 25/27 Arms Act. PS Subzi Mandi, Delhi

RECOVERY

  1. One Desi Katta of 315 bore with two live cartridges.

Two sophisticated pistols alongwith 9 cartridges recovered. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. A team of Special Cell, Northern Range, led by Insp. Sanjay Nagpal, Inspr. Prabhat Kumar & Insp. Pankaj Kumar under the supervision of Shri Pankaj Sood, ACP has arrested sharp shooter of notorious and desperate gangster Naveen @ Khati namely  Sagar @ Punter, alongwith his associate Ravi @ Cheeru. Two pistols alongwith 9 cartridges were recovered from their possession.  A Bullet Motor-Cycle used by gangster has also been seized. A reward of Rs 50,000/- was declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. There is a long history of gang war in Najafgarh and adjoining areas.
