KINGPIN INVOLVED IN FIRING ON A YOUTH NEAR RAWATA VILLAGE A WEEK AGO WALKS INTO TRAP SPREAD BY POLICE STAFF OF AATS/DWARKA DISTRICT

• JITENDER @ JITU ALONG WITH TWO OF HIS ASSOCIATES FIRED ON A YOUTH FROM CLOSE RANGE AFTER LURING HIM NEAR A DRAIN IN PROXIMITY TO RAWATA VILLAGE ON 10.06.19.   

⮚    ACCUSEDJITENDER @ JITU AND VICTIM NABODH KUMAR ARE MASONRY CONTRACTORS WHO WORKED TOGETHER FOR SEVERAL YEARS BEFORE SEPARATING A YEAR AGO DUE TO SELFISHNESS.

• WHEN SISTER-IN-LAW OF JITENDER CAME TO STAY WITH THEM, NABODH DEVELOPED LIKING FOR HER AND WANTED TO MARRY HER BUT JITENDER WAS ANNOYED AND SENT HER BACK TO VILLAGE. HE ALSO SUSPECTED NABODH OF HAVING INTIMATE RELATIONS WITH HIS WIFE.  OF LATE, JITENDER @ JITU WAS LOOSING WORK DUE TO NABODH AND INCURRING LOSSES.

⮚ JITENDER @ JITU HIRED RAJBIR @ BILLY AND SANTOSH FOR Rs. 50,000/- TO ELIMINATE NABODH KUMAR.

• AS PER PLAN, ON 10.06.19 JITENDER @ JITU ALONG WITH RAJBIR @ BILLY AND SANTOSH LURED NABODH KUMAR ON A BIKE ALONGSIDE A DRAIN NEAR RAWATA VILLAGE.

• RAJBIR @ BILLY FIRED UPON AND SANTOSH ATTACKED NABODH KUMAR WITH KNIFE.

• JITENDER @ JITU WAS PLANNING TO FLEE TO MUMBAI, WHEN HE WAS ARRESTED BY THE STAFF OF AATS/DWARKA.  
• ONE ACCUSED NAMELY SANTOSH R/O SHIV VIHAR, NEAR SHAMSHAN GHAT, ROSHAN PURA, NAJAFGARH HAS BEEN ARRESTED BY THE TEAM OF PS JP KALAN ON 15.06.19.

INTRODUCTION:

The staff of AATS/DWD have arrested the absconding assailant Jitender @ Jitu R/O Najafgarh, Delhi, Age-34 years. The accused was on the run ever since he along with his two other associates fired upon and attacked with knife causing injuries to the victim Nabodh Kumar R/O Najafgarh, Delhi, Age-21 years on 10.06.19. A case FIR No. 88/19 dated 10.06.19 u/s 307/34 IPC had been registered at P.S. Jaffar Pur Kalan, Delhi in this regard. While one of the accused Santosh R/O Roshan Pura, Najafgarh, Delhi was arrested by the police staff of P.S. Jaffar Pur Kalan on 15.06.19, the conspirator / main accused  Jitender @ Jitu and Rajbir @ Billy were absconding.

INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION:

Inspector Ram Kishan, in-charge AATS Dwarka Distt., was tasked by senior officers to arrest the perpetuators of the crime. A team of dedicated police officers led by Inspector Ram Kishan and comprising SI Roshan Lal, ASI Vinod, HC Jitender, HC Jai Bhagwan, Ct Arjun, Ct Rohitash and Ct Rajbir under supervision of Sh. Rajinder Singh, ACP Operations, Dwarka District was constituted. Informers were activated, technical surveillance was launched and movements of accused persons were closely monitored.

On 10.06.19, a secret information was received that one of the assailants who is involved in firing and stabbing a young man, a week ago, will be coming on his blue colour M/Cycle No. 8121 near Balli Farm, Paprawat Village to pick his family in pursuant of his plan to flee to Mumbai with family. The team immediately swung into action and without wasting any time, laid a trap near Balli Farm, Paprawat Village, Najafgarh. At about 09:30 AM, at the instance of secret informer, one blue colour M/Cycle No. DL-9S-BJ-8121 was intercepted and the rider was overpowered. On interrogation, name and address of rider was revealed as Jitender @ Jitu R/O Najafgarh, Delhi, Age-34 years.   

INTERROGATION:

The interrogation of accused Jitender @ Jitu revealed that he hails from a town Raath in Distt.  Hamirpur (UP). After marriage he had come to Delhi with his wife about eight years ago in search of work and began working as a mason. He stayed in a rented room in a large house which had several rooms wherein other tenants also used to stay. Victim Nabodh Kumar also stayed as tenant in the same house and worked as a mason. Gradually, Jitender @ Jitu and Nabodh Kumar began taking contracts for smaller masonry works in partnership. Of late, Jitender @ Jitu suspected Nabodh Kumar to be having intimate relations with his wife and due to this the partnership between them broke up. The competition of work between them increased and Jitender @ Jitu was losing work to Nabodh Kumar and incurring loss. He was upset due to these state of affairs and planned to get rid of Nabodh Kumar. Jitender @ Jitu hired his known Rajbir @ Billy and Santosh for Rs. 50,000/- to eliminate Nabodh Kumar. As per their plan, on 10.06.19, he along with Rajbir @ Billy and Santosh lured Nabodh Kumar to an isolated spot alongside drain near Paprawat Village. There while all four were having cold drinks and snacks, Rajbir @ Billy fired upon Nabodh with country made pistol and Santosh attacked Nabodh Kumar with knife. Injured Nabodh Kumar fled from the spot and shouted for help. The trio – Jitender @ Jitu, Rajbir @ Billy and Santosh panicked and fled from the spot on the M/Cycle of Jitender @ Jitu. Jitender @ Jitu left the house with family and was hiding at various places like Noida and Jhansi. He left his wife and children at the platform of Jhansi Junction stating that he will come soon after arranging for their stay at Mumbai. But when he did not return even after a day, his wife became anxious and returned to Delhi with children. He contacted his wife again and today he had come to pick his family in pursuant of his plan to flee to Mumbai, but was arrested by the police.

It is also worth mentioned here that one accused namely Santosh s/o Ram Khilawan r/o Shiv Vihar, Near Shamshan Ghat, Roshan Pura, Najafgarh, Delhi was arrested by the police staff of P.S. Jaffar Pur Kalan on 15.06.19

ACCUSED ARRESTED:

Jitender @ Jitu R/O Najafgarh, Delhi, Age-34 years.

Further investigation of the case is in progress and accused is being interrogated for arrest of absconding accused and recovery of arms used in the crime.
